I have just started using Open Office Base, I am running windows 8.1. The first Access data base that I opened was a mailing list and it seems to work fine, It allows me to add and edit the records. There are approximatley 65 records in this file.
Next I have attempted to import an Collection data base with approximately 1,048 records and approximately 15 fields. Both this file and the previous was in Access 2007. While the first data base works fine, the second (much larger) data base will load the table and form but will not let me add or edit records. Please advise what I am doing wrong, or is there a data limit to Open Office. Sam
