Twice, Chrome told me the program was malicious.
This might have been one of the first occurrences of a problem related to Chrome, now being discussed on the dev list: http://markmail.org/message/bk5fg7stsd5z6mm6 ; if you download from the official site http://www.openoffice.org and MD5 checksums and signatures match, you can ignore the warning from Chrome.
