Greetings!
I have been having issues with Open Office. The spell check dictionary
seemed to have just disappeared a few months ago. When I tried to download
the extension, it seemed to down load, but when I tried to add it, my
computer kept giving me the message that it wasn't there.
Someone suggested that I uninstall the entire program, then download again.
That is what I have been trying to do, without any luck. I have tried
using both Chrome and Explorer. I've tried two different mirror sites. No
luck.
I've tried downloading through two different internet connections. No luck.
What seems to be the problem is that the download stops part way through.
It just stops. Twice, Chrome told me the program was malicious. Twice I
thought it had completely downloaded, because my computer asked if I wanted
to run it, but when I did, I got a message saying that the download was
corrupted or incomplete.
Any suggestions?? Is there anyway I can get the program on a cd disk?
