Update: we have consensus; so it's OK to reject Quick Office Pro messages with a brief, but complete, explanation like the one I gave earlier in this thread; and for those messages that reach the list, it's OK to answer in the same way.

Additionally, thanks to action from Simon Phipps, the Quick Office Pro app is no longer available at the URL it used to be displayed at.

So this issue is now solved. Remember that the entire discussion concerns only "Quick Office Pro", and not other products: in this kind of situations, it is much better to discuss issues when they appear.
