Experiment with Edit | Paste Special ... and see if one of the available variations honors the formatting already specified for the cell.

I copy the amounts from my banks web site and paste it into the cells. My preferred font is Arial - 14, however - when I paste the data into the cells, the font changes to Times New Roman - 10. I've checked the Tools / options / font and even set up what appears to be a replacement table to replace Times New Roman with Areal. In spite of setting this up, when I paste the data, it remains Times new Roman. I have to manually change it to Arial 14. I'd like whatever data I paste into the cells to remain Arial 14 - preferably centered in the cell. Is this possible?
