This seems to be some issues on the operating system side, as the files aren't really associated with the correct program.
Since we don't have "orange icons" except for impress is hard to know what kind of presumption is your operating system doing for you. I suggest to do a screenshot of the icons and put them on http://imgur.com or similar site, and paste the link back. However to fix any file association on your OS please read this tutorial from Microsoft.
