Jim, Having participated in online discussions since the Soviet Union still existed, I've run into my fair share of people who miss the instructions. And yes, that includes people who post "Please unsubscribe me" to the whole list. I get how frustrating that can be.
Still, it's no reason to make yourself (and the rest of us possibly) look bad with references to boots, stupidity and implied nasty language ("RTFM"). I appreciate your re-posting the instructions here for everyone else's benefit.
