most probably, the messages in question were filtered by your mail provider's 
antispam engine. the ezmlm program checks if the engine rejects everything or 
just some portion of mail that it considers suspicious. in the first case, it 
would strike you out from the mailing list; otherwise, it will take no action.

And the promised "...attached copy of the bounced message..." isn't.
