In practice, no. Once a user has subscribed the content they post is sent out immediately, with no moderator review. In my personal opinion (noting that we have no policy on this point) if someone has a small tag on their posts, in the nature of "Go Red Sox!" or "Praise Jesus" or "Ernest Rutherford, the New Zealand Einstein" or "Progressives To The Front!" or "I Like Tabby Cats", to express their personal identity, and this tag is not disproportionate to the length of their post, then I don't see a problem. I think it would cause more distraction and disruption than it would save, to communicate and enforce such a prohibition, especially on a list that has many one-time posts from non-subscribers. But note: there is a clear distinction between expressing pride in one's own affiliation and attacking someone else's.
