Dear Jim;

In my experience, booth MS Office and Open Office can work together in one
computer without any program's conflict because their work in different file
folder and system file;

I allways tell my colleaque who share spreadsheet file to use Open Office
instead off using MS Office;

Regards

I have a new project where someone is using OpenOffice spreadsheets, entering
data, then sending them to me. I'm opening them in M/S Office (Excel) and
already I'm seeing formatting problems. My question is whether I can download
OpenOffice and use the same program he is without being in conflict with my M/S
Office Suite.

Or, is there another way/program that will allow both of us to enter data,
update, and format using the same file?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks - Jim.
