As long as the MySQL connections parameters are configured properly, is there any problem running the Apache user interface for policyd on a separate server than on a mail gateway or the DB server itself? I assume it's not sensible to try to do any maintenance via a simple MySQL client any more... ALso, what's the iminimum version of Apache (1 or 2?) and minimum version of PHP (4 or 5?) necessary?
What about making sure all participating installations remain synchronized, or is everything other than the basic configuration file all maintained now directly in the DB? Sorry to ask what may appear to be trivial questions, but documentation is still pretty limited (though at least better than in V1).
