FWIW, it appears this is not a problem with F22 but a problem with the "Google

I had it working on my F21 system. I had thought that maybe the problem was
related to the new kwallet implementation. So, I decided to do some checking
on my working F21 system. I disabled the extension and then deleted the Google
Contacts. Upon enabling the extension again and trying to add the contacts the
same issue with password was present in F21.
Yup. I haven't the first clue where to file a bug report but this is a
severe issue - for some, "mission critical" I think. This all works so
perfectly on both my phone and my Kindle. ...
