perhaps you are right .. To do the first installation of dconf-Edit I used the command : sudo yum install dconf-editor
I think this command is for getting packages directly from repositories ----------- When I did the first installation I didn't know many things about dconf... I only looked a way to manage icons on the screen.. I followed the indications that I found in this link: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/38226/create-app-folders-on-fedora-20/ After I made the first installation I could launch the dconf-Editor windows.. ... but this windows was froze (all the menu otpins was not enabled) and I couldn't use it. ----------- The problem is now how to go around to resolve the Dependence problem.. thank you for answering me Regards Angelo On Tue, Oct 14, 2014 at 10:05 AM, Ed Greshko <ed.gres...@greshko.com> wrote: > On 10/14/14 13:46, Angelo Moreschini wrote: > > > > Hi > > > > I removed a preceding version of dconf-Editor, and now I am not able to > istall again dconf-editor-0.15.0-4mgc30.x86_64.rpm. > > > > When I try to do it I get this output: > > From where are you getting dconf-editor-0.15.0-4mgc30?? > It doesn't appear to be part of the normal Fedora release. > > On an F20 system I have > > dconf-0.18.0-2.fc20.x86_64 > dconf-editor-0.18.0-2.fc20.x86_64 > > Which would seem to be a later release and you're trying to install a > previous version from somewhere... > > Whatever you're trying to do...
