Also, while running the speed test..... what is the output of ...
iwlist (interface) rate
You can see the value of "interface" in the output of the iwconfig command.

Well, that's rather odd.....
That looks quite good. Seems at odds with what you're seeing in the speed
tests.
How about the output of iwconfig?
