Nope. No joy. However, I noticed that your error messages mentioned GnomeProgram
(whatever that is). So, on a wild guess, I did a yum groupinstall "GNOME
Desktop." That installed 303 programs. One of them fixed the issue, and firefox
now works fine...
I'll never figure that one out
