I have always preferred AMD processors and in fact the one I am using now has the following configuration: 7.8 GiB AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1035T Processor x 6 64 bit Gallium 0.4 on AMD JUNIPER GNOME Version 3.8.2 Running F19, FEL package with several add-ons such as MPLABX.
