why should i bother with kickstart and centrally configurations if i have a ton of production machines with *highly* customized configurations on top of a virtualization cluster where a yum dist-upgrade takes 3-5 minutes and 30 sencods for the reboot and works like a charm since many years? hence i install machines once and migrate them to new hardware every few years and even the few physical development machines are yum-upgraded within 30 minutes
