Yes, but there is probably an entry in fstab for your drive because I bet
you boot from it.

When I say its not mounted, I mean its not mounted automatically like it is
in KDE.   I espoused that I thought it was a kernel issue, but it could just
as well be a KDE/hot swap/dbus/udev or whatever they call it these days,
issue.

The partitions on the internal disk show up in Dolphin, and have ever since
F12.

They do on my machine too, once its mounted.

For fdisk-like usage but for GPT grab gdisk.
