By the way I basically used the recipe at http://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2010/install-google-chrome-with-yum-on-fedora-red-hat-rhel/ to set up the google repo and then yum installed google-chrome-stable - I never installed any additional flash plugin, and have never had a problem displaying flash content. I have another machine which has been running google-chrome-beta for a long time - again without issue.
