Drive are rather cheap today. That way, you could install F14 completely on the second drive, even install grub on the second drive, then, when all done, add booting from the second drive to your boot menu on the FC6 drive. When all done, you could then proceed to yum install the packages which you need/want. Of course, you will need then to either transfer data, such as home dirs to the new drive, or create symlinks in the new drive to point back to the home dirs on existing FC6 drive.
