For a while VirtualBox would only work if rmmod kvm kvm-intel and irqbypass was run. Then update to Virtual Box and it was working..
May have no link to new issue. Have used peazip in a script that needs to do things as root. Have used the GTK2 version. peazip-11.1.0.LINUX.GTK2-1.x86_64.rpm worked yesterday, but today at point it runs peazip it never opens. No error, just have to do a ctrl-C. Did split script into 3 parts. Part up to peazip, and ran it as root. peazip line ran it as regular user and it worked fine. Part after peazip as root again ran fine. Switched to the Qt6 version, and it runs the original script as root with no probems. peazip-11.1.0.LINUX.Qt6-1.x86_64.rpm tried running GTK2 version with strace, and it just scrolls and scrolls. Works with regular user, but not with root. Qt6 version works fine with boot. Sent email to peazip author, but has worked fine for years. Don't know what might have changed.
