Solution from chromium bug list seems to fix issue, but not 100% clear why? --password-store=basic Added to command line get the clean quick start. So not sure what default option it is trying that causes the delay. I use XFCE not Gnome or KDE, so seems other options use libsecret or Kwallet? So, perhaps it is trying the Gnome libsecret even thou I have XFCE? But it was working fine without this option before? So, not what changed? So, is a partial solution, but need to do more research. Web Page doesn't have a login or password. Even saw delay with just loading chromium or chrome with no web page. Sometimes would see a prompt for key ring authentication?
