Apologies in advance for this off-topic question. I'm a frequent user of the Quota question and answer site (https://quora.com) and for a long time have noticed a problem when trying to play embedded videos, to wit: they simply don't play but just show a blank space. This happens with Firefox, Chrome and Chromium on Fedora, and even with the Quora app on Android (15).
I've reported it as a bug to Quora, but there are multiple similar reports dating back years and I've little confidence of a fix.
