The file is here: https://codeberg.org/dmarti/browser-adfraud-protection/raw/branch/main/policies.json The current two preferences that it sets to false are: dom.private-attribution.submission.enabled browser.urlbar.suggest.quicksuggest.sponsored The advantage of setting these in /etc/firefox/policies/policies.json is that they automatically take effect for all new users and profiles (I try to only open certain sites in their own profile, and I don't want to have to turn off the surveillance stuff every time) Yes, I want to do something similar for Google Chrome, but I'm running into the issue that the policy configuration file for Chrome has to be copied into the same directory as the Chrome executable. I need to figure out how to manage things so that updating or reinstalling Chrome doesn't remove the policy configuration file.
