I only see this getting worse.  In the past, anything you searched for
you always had to think about what you read, and could look for
corroborating info.  But the AI thing is "asking the oracle" for advice
(there's a fable in there), and people have too much blind faith.

AI is An Idiot.  It doesn't really understand things, it just parrots
hearsay.  And more AI is their around, the more it's going to be
listening to other AI nonsense.

In one sense it's little different from the wisdom of idiots that you
get when discuss issues with people.  With the exception that (in the
past), people who'd grasped the wrong end of the stick would get
corrected.

I virtually ignore all "how do I" advice from Ubuntu forums for the
same reason, they were full of the blind leading the blind.  The new
Windows generation of not knowing how computing works, and just faffing
around until something seems to work.
