I'm reading this list through alpine on a mail server.
Alpine is a text-only mail-reader that does the right
thing when I tell it to include the original message.
I can edit with either pico or vi.
No problem removing stuff I do not want.

My experience replying to messages with
yahoo's interface is more interesting.
'Tain't always obvious that the orginal message was included.

I expect 'tis worse for folks using phones for mail.
