Sure, that has gotten me around the issue of not being able to update
other things, but it does not get the basic problem fixed, in that
there are conflicting ver of a dependency.

They are aware and there is a new version available. It looks like it
hasn't been pushed to updates yet, so if want it now, you can get it
from koji.
