Clearing DNS cache without rebooting

Ever since last night, my desktop has been unable to resolve slashdot.org, but other computers on my LAN can. I'm presuming that there's something wrong with my DNS, so I'm trying to clear its cache, but I can't find instructions on how to do this without rebooting. Suggestions?
