Hello Barry, I tried looking in dmesg but cannot find anything mentioning edid. I'm not sure this would help me. Detection appears to be working fine when I boot with the monitor connected. It does not do the nice detection when I connect the monitor after logging in. Dmesg would not show me anything that happens after login right?
