I don't think you can hide the email address in this list. Some list
software will rewrite the From: line so all email has the hosting site
as the "From:" email address. Memberclicks, I know, does this. I
don't know what the mailinglist software is for this list, but many do
not support this out of the box.

There is a downside to rewriting the address. It makes backchannel
communication difficult. In the other organization that I belong to
that uses memberclicks, if you want to respond off-list, you have to go
to the membership site, log in as a member, and look up the member you
want to contact to see what his or her email address is. I don't know
if there's an accessible central registry of fedora mailinglist users
with addresses or not.

My solution for some forums is to have limited use addresses. Since I
run my own server, I'll just set up a "widget_mailingl...@billoblog.com
" or whatever, and I'll use it until it gets spammy -- then delete the
account. Frankly, that's the only reason I'd use a gmail address if I
didn't run my own server. The address I use here,
"ven...@billoblog.com" is the one I use for when I have to register at
some vendor website. Eventually I'll move the things I care about to
another email address and delete it.
