Does your USB stick claim to be USB3? Is it a reputable brand? Some early USB3 sticks were dodgy. USB3 signaling needs more careful RF design (lengths and routing of circuit traces and wiring) due to higher frequencies so slapping a new chip into a USB2 design without proper preparation may result in PPP (p*** poor performance). -- George N.
