FWIW, I have fired up another VM which is 100% stock Fedora 32. The open264 plugin is disabled and there is no ffmpeg installed. Result it that the video does not play. If I were to add rpmfusion and install ffmpeg I am sure it will work. So, have you installed ffmpeg?
