That's interesting, though as I said earlier I doubt it's the same problem I'm having. I'm getting a high incidence (3%) of receive errors, which seems to vary from one reboot to the next with no apparent pattern. Changing cables, ports and routers seems to make no difference. I've just bought a new NIC card and will install it before my next reboot.
