No, I am referring to "windows."
The tabs are displayed in a row below the menu bar containing Files,
Edit, View, etc, that part is normal, What I am referring to is just
above the Firefox screen and in the past has always been a row of
"windows" but is now concentrated unto one icon that has to be expanded
to read and make another selection.
I have a basic Xfce install in a VM and my firefox looks like this in the
desktop.
