Here: Firefox 61.02 F27 Linux 4.18.7 (non-official kernel) I have that, too, since a few months. Mostly, IIRC, after updating FF, and on youtube: Video works, but sound is off: So far restarting FF - sometimes more than once - helped.
And IIRC this "no sound on youtube" with FF even happened here on a Debian (testing version, IINM, and I don't remember the version of FF there).
