According to
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index
 your
printer doesn't need a plugin.

I was actually suggesting deleting the printer devices and redoing hp-setup.  I
found
that using the hp-setup and hp-toolbox utilities to helpful in getting
HP printers setup.

The message seems to be saying that http protocol is used over the USB port to
communicate with printer/scanner.  I'm not familiar with USB printer/scanners.
I do
wonder if you can print or if that fails as well?

And, how about resetting the device to the factory settings if you think you
may have
made some changes by accident?
