I prefer to use "journalctl" to extract log information. Have a look at https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/7iRJ5adKn4W6SSCyAKs~OQ. These outputs were generated just after the system was booted with a user that logged in via ssh. So, no attempt was made to start a GUI. I normally see a few ACPI message pop up on boot as well. I've never known them to be a source of problems -- Conjecture is just a conclusion based on incomplete information. It isn't a fact.
