I guess you need to be a little bit more specific. What desktop are you using? What do you mean by "all the automatic..." turned off. Telling folks what you've already done is a good idea. I don't think you want people to suggest you doing one thing and only have you respond "I've done that already....". -- I'm jet lagged.
