I'm not arguing, I'm making statements. And, BTW, as I said I think the usage of "-" is context dependent. Have a look at "man systemd.slice". So it seems the question "what is the general meaning of -" may be an invalid question. The only point I'm making is, the answer to the original question seems easy to come by if one just makes the effort.
