Here the throughput is going beyond the SMSC limit. Even if the throughput
is limited to some value, Kannel submits at a rate more than that...How can

In my case, the SMSC has limited the number of messages. (5 messages per
second). It can be also your case

I am currently using 1.4.3, you can see the status output in
attachments in my first mail. And a interesting point is .. theres
are message in queue where throughput is activated. but without it,
queue is always empty. seems theres some thoritling but not same as
specified in config file not even near to it(in config its 10, what
shows is 200+).

I am trying my new system, and I am trying to use the active
throttling option in smsc group. But I see that it has no effect on my
system. Can someone let me know whats going wrong.
throughput was set to 10 but it gives around 200 msg /sec.
logica simm accepts any number of messages.
My setup:

kannel(with 2 smsbox):
