I mean to try to connect and talk to modem with minicom or wvdial before
starting kannel. I presume that your modem is connected to ttyS0 (serial
port on your PC).

So did i change my modem from ttyACM0 to ttyS0. Is it?
what do you mean by
verify with minicom or wvdial. Then if different configure it in kannel.
