My patch adds support for meta-data on _all_ DB engines, not only mysql. Have you tried with other DB engines?
Anyway, there seems to be another (still unknown) problem, perhaps not related with sqlbox itself but with the way sqlbox talks with bearerbox. We still need to do extra testing to determine where the problem occurs.
