I was aware, for instance, that the newly introduced delete topic feature in 0.8.1 is not fully ready for prime time. But IIRC I learned about this by following the mailing list (It think it was actually a reply of yours, Neha), and I did not see a warning/comment in the 0.8.1 release notes directly. On my side I'm ok with adding such beta features to a release, although I would suggest to mark them more clearly as such (i.e. experimental).
