I don't know things are where you live, but around here it's common for the 
bigger pet shops to have qualified veterinary personnel, and I'd far rather ask 
a vet for human medical advice than I would ask a doctor about a sick horse.

Vets have to know just as much about medicine as doctors do, but they have the 
additional challenges that some patients have lungs and some have gills, some 
are warm blooded and some aren't, and none of them can explain what the 
problem is.


And besides, why should the OP have a service provider for "such stuff"?  
Surely this list is for people trying to do that stuff for themselves?
