Using Edit > Track Changes > Compare Document, as suggested by Howard,
is certainly worth trying. In my experience it often identifies entire
paragraphs as being different, rather than flagging individual changes.
Does your editor not turn on Track Changes in Word when making her edits
and adding comments?
