I was looking for an old database I was using long ago on eBay. One of
the items found was LibreOffice. A seller was selling LibreOffice for
$12.95.
Should they be doing this? It seems to me he is profiting off of your
work. Also, they are taking advantage of people that are unaware
LibreOffice is free.
Personally, I find this to be unscrupulous. He is taking advantage
your programmers work.
This is the URL to their eBay page: https://www.ebay.com/str/graceworksmm
I have been using LibreOffice before dirt was made and feel a bit
guilty. I am not able to make a donation. I live in a nursing home and
have no money anymore.
LibreOffice is wonderful and even if I could afford Microsoft Office I
would keep using LibreOffice
I tried to get the nursing home to switch from Microsoft Office to
LibreOffice, but the company that administers their computers won't
allow it. They must profit from Microsoft products.
The home finally got them to allow them to buy their computers from
other sources. I will try the switch away from Microsoft again.
Thanks so much for providing such an _*incredible *free _product.

(1) The item for sale seems to be something physical ... a USB drive ...
as it will be physically be shipped (mailed) to the buyer?
(2) The version offered seems to be rather old ... may not work on
modern systems?
(3) Value? I really don't see any, but maybe to someone
I remember the first RetHat's were available for sale on CD's at most
computer stores.
I remember I paid quite a bit for a set of StarOffice to run on an Apple IIe
Interesting Jog alone memory lane, eh?
Be well and take good care of yourself
