Hi gary,

That error means that “something” in your other user doesn’t have the correct
permissions. Not sure if it was changed in 4.19.1 already but last time I had
that it was the template they didn’t have access to, but I couldn’t find
anything in the logs as to where it said that.

That said, what does the management log say?

Subject: Issue assigning VM to different account
ACS 4.15.2
Hypervisor: KVM on Ubuntu 20.04

Hi

I am logged into ACS as a root admin and can see all VM’s from all tenants in
the platform. I am trying to assign a VM from the admin account to another
account in another domain via the UI but get the following error:

Request Failed (530)
Failed to move vm due to
Acct[8e553ce6-10c0-4812-98f1-791bfea8c5c6-ForHousing-DaaS] does not have
permission to operate within domain id=91dcb385-17d9-41e9-8385-850476b66ab9

is there anyway to assign this instance to another account/domain ?

BR
