Chris,
To use a XenServer which does not have HVM support you need to run this command
to update the CloudStack DB. Replacing [password] & [account] with your MySQL
Credentials (this assumes the command is run on the local MySQL Server so add
-h [IPADDRESS] if running remotely etc)
mysql -p[password] [account] -e \ "INSERT INTO cloud.configuration (category,
instance, component, name, value, description) VALUES ('Advanced', 'DEFAULT',
'management-server', 'xen.check.hvm', 'false', 'Shoud we allow only the
XenServers support HVM');"
We run our CloudStack Bootcamp (http://shapeblue.com/cloudstack-training/) on
Virtual Box using XenServer as the HyperVisor and CloudStack on a CentOS VM,
this way we get the full feature set of an Advanced Zone including Console
Proxy etc
