that tx should be associated with one of your clients. So if you cycle your clients, it should get rolledback. I know we now (5.8/9) track a range of data files associated with a transaction so that gc is not blocked any more than it needs be. in 5.7 any later log file needs to remain. see: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4262
