I can't find answers to the following questions anywhere on the
struts/shale web pages. I hope someone can help me here.
* Is this list the appropriate one for shale questions?
The shale pages don't have any info about mailing lists. From an
internet search it looks like the convention is to ask questions here
prefixing the subject with [shale]. Is this right?
* Are there any releases other than nightlies?
The shale pages only link to nightly releases. The wiki has info on a
1.0.0 release but I can't see any such files on the apache download site.
* How stable is shale/clay?
I'm just starting a reasonable size project with JSF. JSF is nice, but
JSP as a front end sucks - esp. when using tiles as (AFAIK) all raw html
needs to be output via <f:verbatim> or <h:outputText> in order to get
the output in the correct order w.r.t. JSF components. I would love to
use a tapestry-like approach, ie template using real HTML - and it
appears that clay does exactly this. However I also need something
*reasonably* stable, as this project does have a delivery date. I don't
mind finding/fixing the occasional bug in Clay. Is clay stable enough
for this or is it still "experimental"?
